Crypto offers a number of lucrative opportunities for the igaming sector, according to Dirk Camilleri, Chief Product Officer at iGP.
In an interview with SBC at ICE, Camilleri explained that iGP has been following the upward trend in crypto’s popularity for some time now, eventually designing a crypto product which the company showcased at the conference.
The Chief Product Officer explained that the nuances that come with a crypto offering inevitably entail that the product must be tailored for a younger audience that is tech-savvy and values fast transaction speeds.
Further into the interview, on a question whether the industry is prepared for a mass implantation of crypto, Camilleri highlighted that he believes the industry is already advanced enough to roll out a wide-scale adoption of crypto payments support, with a modern infrastructure, cloud servers and ultra fast bandwidth speeds being the standard for many operators in the space.
To complement its newly-launched crypto offering, iGP has also launched its brand new terminals which it first premiered at ICE. The terminals will aim to deliver the same player experience on all types of devices, while simultaneously being deployed across multiple continents with support for both fiat and cryptocurrencies.
“Alongside our crypto offering we’ve also been developing these terminals, which essentially offer an omni-channel experience. The template that we’re offering which supports fiat and crypto, and a wide variety of games are all available on the terminals.
“Whether if you’re on your phone, at home or on a terminal, you will be given the same experience. We’re launching [the terminals] in LatAm in the coming months, and this will also allow us to look into Asia, which is also in our sights.”
