Regulatory compliance firm BetComply has strengthened its offering by expanding the coverage of its ComplyCheck tool to the UK.
Launched earlier this year, the tool is a self-assessment product designed with the idea in mind of helping licensed operators in the Netherlands navigate the regulatory environment.
After proving a regional success, the tool has now been expanded to include the UK, with plans to next add Estonia and the Canadian province of Ontario – markets known to have complex compliance requirements.
BetComply has also expressed interest in rolling out ComplyCheck to jurisdictions like Malta and Curacao, two jurisdictions where many gaming firms hold licences to operate internationally, starting 2025.
Operators looking to be licensed through ComplyCheck, which is powered by SG Certified, will be met with a two-step process. The first stage involves answering a set of questions, which will then be analysed by an in-house BetComply team of regulatory experts.
Mike de Graaff, Chief Compliance Officer at BetComply, said: “When we launched ComplyCheck, it was a completely new approach designed to simplify licensing audits for operators. It’s been so popular in the Netherlands, we’ve prioritised bringing the service to new markers, starting with the UK.
“We’ve designed ComplyCheck to provide greater clarity to operators, making the audit process more efficient without compromising on the all important details. We couldn’t be more excited to see our partners using the tool in these new markets.”
