Kambi’s new CCO: establishing ourselves as home of premium sports betting solutions

In her first interview since being appointed Chief Commercial Officer, Sarah Robertson tells SBC News about Kambi’s new Odds Feed+ product and the potential of its expanded product portfolio.

SBC: Can you give an overview of Kambi’s expanded product lineup and how it complements its Turnkey Sportsbook?

Sarah Robertson: Kambi’s Turnkey Sportsbook has long been our flagship product, helping to establish us as a global leader in the sports betting industry. It will remain our core offering moving forward as we believe an end-to-end sportsbook solution is the best strategic fit for most operators in regulated markets, with our recent partnership with KTO Group in Brazil being a great example. However, we recognise that many operators want even greater control over their sportsbook technology while understanding the need to outsource certain elements of their sportsbook to third-party specialists to consistently compete at the top of the market. This is where our expanded product portfolio comes in.

With the expansion of our product suite, we’re not just addressing this need, we’re also ensuring operators can benefit from the same robust, data-driven technology that powers our Turnkey Sportsbook. 

As the home of premium sports betting solutions, operators can be safe in the knowledge that Kambi has a product to suit their strategic needs, capable of elevating their sportsbook to the next level. As such, our portfolio of revenue-driving sports betting services has been expanded to include not only our Turnkey Sportsbook but also Odds Feed+, Managed Trading, Bet Builder, Esports, Front End and Sportsbook Platform.

SBC: What is Odds Feed+ and what sets it apart from other odds feed products in the industry?

SR: Odds Feed+ is certainly not your standard odds feed service and we believe we have built something truly unique for the sports betting industry. Kambi’s Odds Feed+ allows operators to access Kambi’s extensive library of high-quality odds through a single and seamless API integration, with odds sharpened by the billions of transactions occurring across our Turnkey Sportsbook each year. 

One of the key differentiators of Odds Feed+ is its flexibility. Operators can tailor and adjust their odds package to suit their strategic objectives, whether that’s offering more competitive pricing for certain bet offers or focusing on specific sports. The fact that event resulting and bet settlement are included as standard further enhances its value proposition, as does the fact our odds feed includes all relevant sports and leagues unlike other providers. Having recently announced our first partner, we are really excited about the potential of Odds Feed+.

SBC: What other products are included in Kambi’s expanded portfolio?

SR: In addition to Odds Feed+, we also have several other premium sports betting solutions as part of our portfolio. Our Managed Trading service provides operators with access to Kambi’s renowned trading and risk management capabilities, as well as giving them even more control with Kambi’s Trading Tools. Then there’s our Bet Builder, an award-winning product that offers unmatched combinability across sports, with live betting and cash-out functionality enabled.

We can also provide operators with an industry-leading Esports offering through our specialist esports division Abios, providing a comprehensive package that includes data, odds feeds, widgets and always-on content such as esoccer. Additionally, our Front End services, powered by our Shape Games division, allow operators to deliver customised, engaging and seamless user experiences, covering all channels and igaming verticals. Lastly, our Sportsbook Platform continues to set the industry standard in terms of reliability, scalability, and performance. 

Together, these products form a one-stop-shop of premium products and services for any sports betting operator, whether they’re looking for a fully managed solution or specific modular services.

SBC: Kambi recently exhibited at G2E in Las Vegas. How was Kambi’s new product portfolio received?

SR: G2E is one of the most important events on the calendar for the sports betting and gaming industry, and we had yet another great year at the show, this time showcasing our expanded product suite. We were able to speak with delegates first-hand about how our solutions can elevate their sportsbooks. Some visitors at the Kambi booth were interested in hearing about our Turnkey Sportsbook, and how that can deliver for on-property operators. Others wanted to hear from some of our experts about our new products including Odds Feed+ or front-end solutions with Shape Games. 

SBC: How does this product expansion align with Kambi’s long-term vision and strategy?

SR: Kambi’s long-term vision remains unchanged: to pioneer next-generation betting entertainment that players demand and operators can’t compete without. Our product expansion aligns perfectly with this objective and that of our wider modularisation strategy announced in early 2023 of which this is a significant step forward. By modularising our product offering, we’re giving operators more choice and control over their sports betting strategy, allowing them to innovate and differentiate in an increasingly competitive market. At the same time, we’re staying true to our core strengths — delivering high-quality, data-driven technology that maximises partner growth and success.

SBC: Lastly, what would you say to operators who are considering partnering with Kambi?
