Intralot nets retail systems extensions for PLI & TOTO NL

Intralot SA has announced the extension of two key European contracts for the Athens-listed gambling and lottery technology group.

In the Netherlands, the Intralot Benelux subsidiary has secured a three-year extension as the principal retail wagering systems supplier for TOTO NL, the flagship sportsbook brand of Nederlandse Loterij BV.

This three-year contract renewal will enable Intralot to continue providing TOTO NL’s retail trading solutions and risk management systems, overseen by INTRALOT Orion.

Intralot’s systems will continue to support TOTO NL’s retail network of 4,000 betting points through to 2027.

In Ireland, Intralot has secured a three-year extension to its contract as the lead gaming systems supplier for the Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI) retail network.

This extension allows Intralot to continue providing its advanced central gaming system for the operation of the National Lottery of Ireland.

The technology group’s gaming systems will continue to support PLI’s retail network of more than 4,300 Intralot terminals.

Intralot maintains its gaming systems partnership with PLI as the Irish lottery firm undertakes its post-M&A integration with its new owner, Francaise des Jeux (FDJ).

B2B contract renewals with European partners are of strategic importance to Intralot, as the Athens gambling group experienced a slowdown in B2C revenues during 2023 following the discontinuation of the Malta Lottery.

In 2023, Intralot reorganized its business operations and contracts, achieving its goal of reducing long-term corporate debt below the €500 million mark.
