Playtech Plc has announced that it will serve as lead platform and system provider for challenger sportsbook brand 10bet’s UK and Swedish market activities.
The agreement comes as 10bet hits the corporate milestone of servicing “a loyal user base of more than one million bettors”.
Seeking to expand its presence in the UK and Sweden significantly, 10bet has appointed Playtech to bolster its operating systems capacity, in which the FTSE250 technology group will serve as lead sportsbook supplier for 10bet’s UK operations.

In Sweden, Playtech will provide 10bet with its Player Management System/IMS, Playtech Open Platform.
Playtech underlined its commitment to the Swedish market, since as of last November, Sweden’s new law mandates gaming software suppliers to have licenses from July 1st.
