GamCrowd and Clarion Events have announced the line-up of participants for Pitch ICE ahead of this year’s ICE Totally Gaming at the ExCeL Centre in London 2nd-4th February.
The pitches will take place on the Tuesday and Wednesday at stand N7-460.
Entrepreneurs and start-ups were asked to apply to claim a place in the Pitch process before December 31 and the experts at GamCrowd have narrowed down the contestants to 14 new business ideas. Each start-up, which this year includes fantasy sports product Top Flight Manager, social gaming service Koodbee, Techweare which focuses on content for wearable tech amongst others, has produced a pitch video that gives a brief outline of what their business is about. Chris North, GamCrowd Founder and CEO, said of this year’s competition: “We’re really pleased with the quality of entrants for this year’s Pitch ICE competition.”
Helen Walton and Paul Dolman Darrall, the founders of last year’s winners Gamevy, will talk at the event and Gamevy will also be taking part in a day of advice and information for start-ups on the GamCrowd Studio day on the Thursday at the Pitch ICE Stand.
He added: “We are really looking forward to seeing them all take part in this year’s event and once again showcasing the best new ideas about in the industry.”
The winner of Pitch ICE will be decided by voting online post-event via the GamCrowd site.
