Isle of Man appoints Jonathan Mills as e-Business lead

The Isle of Man Parliament has announced the appointment of Jonathan Mills as new Director of e-Business with immediate effect.

Mills takes on the executive position having been Non-Executive Director of Isle of Man based gaming company Veros Digital.

A thirty year digital veteran Mills is Chairman of gambling technology provider ABETA (2009-2015), and has served as Managing Director of Inspired Gaming Group International (2007-2009).

Mills will be charged with leading the Isle of Man, business development strategy and future growth for digital commerce.

The appointment of Mills was confirmed by Alf Cannan MHK, the Department Member

‘I am delighted that we have been able to attract someone of the calibre and experience of Jonathan Mills to this key role. The Isle of Man’s economic plan Vision2020 identified e-Business as the sector offering most growth potential and Jonathan will be playing a key role in helping the Isle of Man exploit these opportunities to enable further growth in jobs and in the Island’s reputation as a leading international business centre.’

Jonathan Mills commented on joining the Isle of Man team

‘I feel privileged to have been offered this role and will be working closely with Isle of Man businesses and investors to continue to grow existing businesses as well as attract new enterprises to the Island.’
