666Bet has completed its product migration to the BetContruct sports betting platform. Throughout last week the betting operator sent several communications alerting its player base that the Bet666 website would undergo a ‘scheduled upgrade’.
The migration to BetConstruct’s platform, sees 666Bet drop Novigroup Ltd white label sports betting provisions. 666Bet CEO Barry Martin announced the operator’s decision to switch betting platforms in November, stating that it would gain additional betting markets and better customer provisions by migrating to BetConstruct.
666Bet further supported its platform migration, with the re-launch of its sports betting website which includes a new easy market access layout.
The migration of platform and re-launch of its sports betting website ends a busy 2014 for the UK online betting’s new comers. Launched in May 2014 ahead of the FIFA 2014 World Cup, 666Bet entered the UK market with a multi-content campaign featuring Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp and British comedian/actor Vas Blackwood.
In September 666Bet acquired DMG Media igaming subsidiary Metro Play for an undisclosed fee. The operator confirmed that it would look to increase its UK igaming market share by launching new products for its igaming brands including online bingo and poker for its Metro Play brand.
Barry Martin further confirmed that 666Bet would look to launch new sports betting inventory in 2015. 666Bet are shortly expecting the launch of its mobile betting product and will integrate Football Mega jackpots provider Colossus Bets software in early 2015.
