Midlands based igaming operator bet365, has been listed as one of the top private British companies, by the Sunday Times Newspaper.

In its annual business and enterprise feature, the igaming and sports betting operator owned by the Coates family came in at 54 on the 13th annual Sunday Times Top Track 100 league table.

bet365 reported increase revenues of 35% to £975 million for its 2013 performance. The newspaper reported that customers had wagered a staggering £43 billion in 2013.

With its management and operational centre based in Stoke, The Sunday Times reported that the betting operator had become the fastest growing company in the Midlands.

bet365 was founded in 2000 in a portakabin in Stoke-on-Trent by Peter Coates,  today management operation are led by daughter Denise who serves as CEO.

In May 2014 The Sunday Times, announced that the Coates family had become the first betting billionaires in UK business history.  The Coates family have seen their fortune rocket from £925 million to £1.2 billion in the past year.
