Sports betting technology systems and software supplier OpenBet have confirmed the hiring of former Amazon Development Director – Joe Eldridge as Chief Product Officer. The role has been specially designed for Mr Eldridge, as the software supplier looks to revitalize its core platform and its overall future product strategy.
Joe Eldridge will take this senior management position, and will now lead all of OpenBet’s product management and product engineering teams. Further responsiliblitys will see Mr Eldridge define and implement OpenBet’s long term product strategy with the view to ensure greater better product output and take-up of Openbet’s igaming services.
OpenBet aim to make their core products more appealing to potential igaming customers. The recruitment of Mr Eldridge, is part of a strategic company overhaul.

Eldridge joins the OpenBet team with a wealth of digital experience having worked as software development director for Amazon Instant Video. Mr Eldridge has also been a key figure in development for interfaces for partner sites on the Amazon digital network such as Lovefilm and IMDb.
