Wycombe footballer suspended after placing 183 bets

Wycombe Wanderers’ forward Scott Kashket has been sanctioned with a two month suspension and £3446 fine after he admitted placing 183 bets on football matches. Spain sees online gambling revenue soar

Spanish gambling regulator, the Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ), has revealed that the country’s online gaming market experienced a 26% year-on-year increase in revenue in the 12 months through to December 31, 2015.  Gross gaming revenue for the full year totalled €319.6m (£248.7m), while turnover also increased 28% year-on-year to more than €8bn (£6.2bn).
