FeedConstruct has penned its first sporting deal outside the realms of football and basketball for some time.
The company has been securing partnerships with football and basketball federations left and right in 2026, with the ink still drying on contracts in Europe, South America and Asia.
Its latest partnership is in neither, however, and instead touches on baseball.
The SoftConstruct-owned sports data and streaming provider has partnered with the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), and as with other deals it sees FeedConstruct secure executive worldwide data and live streaming rights.
Michael Schmidt, Chief Executive Officer of the WBSC, said: “The WBSC is committed to making our events more accessible than ever before while delivering greater value to our athletes, fans, broadcasters and commercial partners.
“This partnership with FeedConstruct combines world-class technology with a truly global distribution network, ensuring our premier international baseball events reach new audiences around the world.
“We are delighted to welcome FeedConstruct to the WBSC family and look forward to working together to continue growing the global profile of our sport.”
WBSC is the global governing body of baseball, softball and basebal5. As Schmidt mentioned, the firm hopes to improve global accessibility to international baseball via its partnership with FeedConstruct.
The deal covers low latency live video and real-time event data. FeedConstruct will exclusively collect said data from upcoming tournaments and ongoing, such as the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup group stages, which began on 22 July and concludes on 23 August.
Other tournaments covered under the agreement include the WBSC Premier12 Barcelona and Zhongshan Qualifiers between 9-11 October and 26-29 November, and the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2026, beginning on 6 November.
Narek Harutyunyan, CEO of FeedConstruct, said: “This alliance with the WBSC marks a defining milestone in our global rights strategy and underscores our mission-critical role within the sports ecosystem.
“By securing the worldwide data and streaming distribution for these premier baseball tournaments, we are equipping our network of hundreds of sportsbook partners with highly engaging, premium sports content.
“Baseball’s high-frequency, stat-driven nature makes it an exceptional asset for in-play engagement, and we are thrilled to work alongside the WBSC to bring this high level of competition to our partners.”
