Betano has extended its brand ambassador deal with Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa.
The deal follows the pair’s initial collaboration in 2023, and since then, Massa has participated in a range of brand activations and initiatives with the Kaizen Gaming-owned operator, including guest racing experiences and appearances at the Copa América Cup Tour.
Guilherme Figueiredo, Betano’s Country Manager for Brazil, commented: “Felipe Massa is more than an ambassador for Betano; he is a symbol of trust that shares similar values with us and has a story that inspires.
“Renewing this partnership is part of our commitment to offering fans unique experiences and expanding our presence in Brazilian sports. Massa will also be our ambassador for responsible gaming and will engage in social initiatives driven by Betano.”
Massa will continue to engage in promotional activities with Betano, following his visit to the organisation’s São Paulo office for a meet and greet with company employees following the signing of this latest partnership extension.
The Brazilian driver added: “This is a very special relationship, I am proud to represent a brand that understands and values sports. Each event activation we have done together was created with one goal in mind: To create unforgettable moments for sports fans.
“It is a pleasure to continue this collaboration and I’m looking forward to achieving more together in the coming years.”
Signing with the Brazilian driver will allow Betano to enhance its Latin American presence, a region that the operator has placed particular focus on in recent months.
Towards the end of last year, the Kaizen brand reached players in Colombia for the first time after gaining an operator license from the nation’s regulator – Coljuegos.
Moreover, Betano was one of the first 68 licensees to be approved for Brazil ahead of the nation’s regulated online sports betting and igaming market launch at the beginning of January.
