Superbet Group has become the latest member of the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA).
The operator aims to reflect its commitment to industry responsibility and to ‘raising the bar’ on industry standards.
Albert Simsensohn, Chief Operating Officer of Superbet Group, said: “This is an important chapter in our journey, as becoming members of EGBA demonstrates our commitment to nurture a sustainable growth for our company, while adhering to the highest standards of compliance across all our markets.”
Founded in 2008, Superbet Group includes the brands Superbet, Napoleon Sports & Casino, and Lucky Days. The group is also a member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).
Superbet will now contribute to EGBA’s ongoing work including responsible advertising, safer gambling, and guidelines for the implementation of the newly agreed EU anti-money laundering rules.
Simsensohn continued: “We are prepared to work closely with EGBA, exchanging industry best practices and ensuring that our industry operates in a fair and properly regulated European environment.”
The news comes as the incoming European Commission is expected to propose legislation that will impact EU digital sectors, including online gambling.
“We’re delighted to welcome Superbet Group to EGBA, further strengthening our industry representation,” added Maarten Haijer, Secretary General of EGBA.
“Superbet’s expertise and market focus will be invaluable to call upon as EGBA continues its drive to set high industry standards and promote a safe and competitive online gambling environment in Europe. We look forward to working with our new colleagues.”
