Entain brings Helen Ashton on board as new Non-Executive Director

Entain has announced Helen Ashton as its new Independent Non-Executive Director, she  will take the reins with immediate effect.

Ashton joins the FTSE-listed gambling company, carrying over more than 30 years of experience working in public and private equity-backed businesses, while also being qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant. 

Ashton’s previous stints include a CFO role at ASOS, as well as executive roles at ASDA, Barclays, and Lloyds Banking Group – accumulating a wealth of global business and financial services experience. 

On her appointment, Barry Gibson, Chairman of Entain, said: “On behalf of the Board, I am delighted to welcome Helen to Entain. Helen brings a wealth of retail, digital, financial and board experience. 

“As part of the continued strengthening of the Entain Board, I am confident that Helen will further enhance the Board’s ability to support and oversee the delivery of our strategy.

By joining Entain, Ashton will also become a member of the company’s Audit Committee. 

She’s the latest person to join Entain recently, with the firm also announcing its new Chief Marketing Officer, Charlotte Emery, at the end of last month.
