Sportsbook and casino software provider SB Software has confirmed the appointment of Filip Sosnowski as its new CEO.

Sosnowski will utilise his long-spanning background in igaming and multiple previous management roles to guide the company’s future. This will include overseeing development of in-house sports betting and online casino tools.
He previously held positions at Austrian-based Greentube, part of Novomatic Group, as well as STS Gaming Group, which was recently acquired by Entain.
On his appointment, Sosnowski said: “I have found experience with various gambling platforms, that’s why I’m very excited to discover the potential and quality of solutions offered by SB Software. The success stories of current clients, who are constantly growing their businesses using SB Software products, is extremely motivating.
“SB Software’s priority is to maintain a strong position as a leading software provider in the African, Polish and Georgian markets, as well as to acquire clients in new regulated markets. Our solutions are innovative and definitely competitive. I’m confident about it.”
The new CEO takes over from SB Software’s owner Claus Rasmussen, who managed the company since its inception 13 years ago. Rasmussen will remain at SB Software as Chairman of the Board.
He added: “We have reached the next step in the development of the company, that is why I have decided to strengthen the composition of the management further and pass over the steering wheel along to Mr Sosnowski.
“It was important to me that the new CEO not only knows and understands the specifics of the Polish igaming market, but also has wide international experience. The decision was not difficult, Filip Sosnowski is one of the igaming veterans and additionally meets all requirements, which are extremely important to me.”
