bet365 has officially rolled out its online sportsbook in Louisiana, its seventh US state.
Described as a ‘unique market’, Louisiana contains certain pockets where online sports betting is not available. The state conducted a parish-by-parish vote, so UK-based bet365 is now available in 55 of the state’s 64 parishes.
A bet365 spokesperson commented: “Celebrated for its passionate culture and festive spirit, we are thrilled to bring bet365 to Louisiana. Now eligible customers from Shreveport to the Big Easy can enjoy our renowned products like amazing Bet Boosts, the fastest in-game experience, and unique Same Game Parlays.”
Louisiana now bet365’s US portfolio which includes Iowa, Kentucky, Colorado, Ohio and Virginia as well as New Jersey – where it made its North American debut back in 2019.
As it has done in other markets, bet365 will be offering new users a sign-up offer of receiving $365 in promotions from placing a $1 bet.
What started as a very slow rollout, the Stoke-based operator continues to pick up steam. After debuting in New Jersey, it took two years for bet365 to launch in a second state, Colorado, last autumn.
Now, the firm is up to seven states with recently announced plans to launch in North Carolina as well.
Continuing its North American expansion plans, this week bet365 also announced a partnership with the Charlotte Hornets.
This NBA deal marked the first market-access agreement between an operator and a sports team in North Carolina, which is aiming to launch a regulated online and mobile market between 8 January 2024 and June 2024.
