Chekd Media returns popular ‘I Had Trials Once’ podcast with bet365

Chekd Media has partnered with bet365 to bring back the ‘I Had Trials Once’ podcast series.

With more than one million downloads, the partnership aims to leverage the podcast’s reach to promote bet365’s free-to-play initiative, the 6 Scores Challenge.

Will Tyrrell, UK Media Director at Checkd Media, commented: “I Had Trials Once has been a great success ever since it attracted a large, enthusiastic audience the first time around and it’s fantastic to bring it back again in conjunction with such a big operator brand.”

The podcast features regular presenters, non-league Radcliffe striker Jordan Hulme and ex-Salford star and now football agent Gareth Seddon. The first guest on what will be a new three-month run for bet365 is former Charlton Atheltic and Bristol City Manager Dean Holden.

“Dean Holden was a great guest with an interesting story to tell, kicking off a new series that is sure to be very entertaining while also serving as a valuable promotional tool for bet365’s 6 Scores Challenge,” Tyrrell added.

The pair have also highlighted that each week, the two hosts will produce a video clip to promote the 6 Scores Challenge which will feature across the I Had Trials Once social channels.

The partnership with bet365 supports the revival of the podcast, which was announced back in June as part of the Manchester-based affiliate network’s partnership with Sky Sports Fantasy Football.

Meanwhile, keeping in line with safe betting practices, earlier this year bet365 secured an extension to its partnership with Rightlander, as the betting group targeted enhanced responsible gambling compliance across its international operations.

The Stoke-on-Trent-based firm now continues to leverage Rightlander’s platform and features to maintain compliance with various regulatory frameworks as regimes across the world continue to evolve.
