CopyBet has announced the signing of Republic of Ireland and Premier League star Shay Given as its first ever brand ambassador.
The operator, which offers both a sportsbook and a non-analogue automated copy betting system, will now provide its bettors with weekly insights from Given, surrounding the world of football and the latest competitions.
Anton Ivanov, Business Development Director of CopyBet UK, said: “Shay Given is a Premier League legend and as football fans we’re delighted to sign him as our first ever brand ambassador.
“We look forward to working with him during what is set to be an exciting season for both CopyBet and all football fans.”
The partnership – brokered by WH Sports and Bear Faced Talent – will also see the former goalkeeper appear in a series of content throughout the 2023/24 season to help drive awareness of the brand.
On his new ambassador role, Given explained: “I’m delighted to have signed for CopyBet and look forward to working with the CopyBet team.
“All is set for another exciting football season both in both domestic and European competitions. With Euro 2024 taking in place in Germany at the end of the season, there is so much for football fans to look forward to over the next 12 months.”
Also in football, CopyBet is the official betting partner of Queens Park Rangers, and this deal with the Championship side has been recently extended for the 2023/24 season.
