Coolbet has signed a partnership with Enteractive, leveraging the latter’s betting and igaming player reactivation and retention model for its Latin American operations.
Originally founded in Estonia with a focus on the Nordic markets, Coolbet has been stepping up its presence in Latin American jurisdictions in recent years, especially since its acquisition by GAN in 2020.
To support its transatlantic ambitions, Coolbet has enlisted Enterative to implement action products with a focus on registered non-funded player accounts. Reducing churn and conducting reactivation campaigns targeting lapsed players is another area of focus.
Andrew Foster, Enteractive’s Head of Business Development, said: “Our mission is to connect iGaming brands with their players through real one-to-one conversations. We are confident that our expert team of call agents will help Coolbet achieve new levels of success in player conversions and reactivations.”
The agreement is Enteractive’s first operator partnership since a deal signed with Entain’s Dutch BetCity brand in February 2023. The firm has moved to enhance its offering in the months since, however, such as cooperating with CRM provider Fast Track.
Further specifics of the deal include the use of Enteractive’s (Re)Activation Cloud platform, whilst Coolbet will share selected player segments with the firm’s agents to inform one-to-one phone conversations.
The duo will also leverage Coolbet’s existing CRM capabilities to re-engage Latin American customers. The betting platform is currently active in the markets of Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico, having most recently launched in the latter.
Julija Moisenko, Head of Marketing Operations at Coolbet, remarked: “We are thrilled to be working with Enteractive and their unique approach to player engagement.
“This partnership enables us to stand out from the competition and demonstrate to our players that we care about their experience. We are excited to see the results of this collaboration.”
In an interview with SBC Media earlier this year, Coolbet’s President Endre Nesset explained the company’s approach to Latin American markets, detailing that it had transferred many of the lessons and techniques from its European background.
“If you look back at Coolbet and our operations in Northern Europe, these set us up for success in Latin America,” he said. “We perfected and optimised our strategy, learned from our mistakes in Europe and really found our niche.
“We’ve always been a sportsbook, and we’ve tried some things that worked well in some places, and others didn’t. We made mistakes in some markets early, and when we pushed into Latin America we were in a good spot.”
