Soft2Bet has moved to bolster its oversight of compliance, legal and regulatory activities, appointing David Yatom as General Counsel.
Yatom will lead the group’s initiatives in these areas, with a focus on coordinating an expansion strategy on existing and emerging regulated markets, tying in with the firm’s corporate and commercial targets.
The new hire brings previous experience in this field, having worked as General Counsel for SBTech, before taking on Senior Director of Legal responsibility at DraftKings, after the US firm integrated the former along with Diamond Eagle Acquisition.

He understands the core values of Soft2Bet and will lead our presence in the industry.”
Soft2Bet has highlighted Yatom’s experience in both private and in-house legal affairs, including the aforementioned tenures in betting and igaming, as being particularly beneficial to the firm and its growth strategy.
His appointment comes a month after the firm took another step in its expansion plans, launching the ReferOn affiliate management system.
Speaking to SBC News last year shortly after his own appointment to the firm’s leadership, Head of Sportsbook Ed Clark discussed Soft2Bet’s growth ambitions in Sweden, Ireland and the US.
