Soft2Bet secures MGA licences to push forward with international growth

Soft2Bet has strengthened its status in the European gaming sector after acquiring licences from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) for two of its brands, Campobet and YoyoCasino.

CampoBet is one of Soft2Bet’s best performing brands in Europe, offering a range of sports betting options and casino games as part of a ‘all-in-one entertainment experience,’ whilst YoYo casino had be tailored to specific operator specifications and includes a number of popular games such as Divine Fortune Megaways, Bonanza Megaways and Starburst.

As one of Europe’s most prominent gambling hubs, Malta provides a base to over 250 betting operators including Betsson, Tipico and William Hill, and online gambling accounts for 12% of the island’s GDP, generating €700 million and employing 9,000 people.

Soft2Bet’s new status in the territory can therefore be expected to significantly boost its international reach and client base.

“We are delighted that YoyoCasino and Campobet have been launched under the MGA licence,” said Boris Chaikin, CEO of Soft2Bet.

“This allows us to operate in a number of new markets, which is a huge milestone for us as a company and will take us to the next level as we rapidly grow our regulated footprint.

“Our portfolio of cutting-edge casino and sportsbook brands appeals to an impressive range of audiences, and this will help us to further extend its reach across the globe.”

Prior to launching in Malta, Soft2Bet strengthened its international presence in Scandinavia via the appointment of Peter Christian Noer – who had previously served as Country Manager for Sweden – as Regional Manager for the Nordic markets.

Additionally, the firm signed an agreement with technology and software developer Latrobet in January, enhancing its greyhound and horse racing product offering.

Speaking to SBC earlier this month, Soft2Bet’s Head of VIP, Ivan Lorinkov, discussed the company’s approach to problem betting, emphasising that gambling should be ‘about fun, entertainment and enjoyment,’ and highlighted the use of real-time data as a ‘promising’ way of confronting gambling addiction.
