LVBet kickstarts LatAm expansion with Douglas Costa partnership

Sportsbook and online casino operator LVBet has kickstarted its bid to enhance its Latin American market status by appointing Douglas Costa as its Brand Ambassador for Brazil.

Under the terms of the partnership, Costa will provide the operator with ‘expert insight and opinions’ as the firm seeks to capitalise on the burgeoning Latin American sports betting sector.

“Having Brazilian football international Douglas Costa on our side as we begin this new chapter in Brazil, is something we’re really excited about. With a competitive product offering, we’re looking to leverage Douglas Costa’s status to help us penetrate the market,” commented Adrian Sidowski, Chief Executive Officer at LVBet.

In addition to the recent agreement with the two-time Bundesliga and three-time Serie A winning midfielder, LVBet had developed its international sporting presence via partnerships with the English Vanarama National League and Wisla Krakow of the Polish top-flight Ekstraklasa.

“I’m delighted to sign for LV BET as Brand Ambassador as they enter the Brazilian market. They are an ambitious team with big plans and it’s my privilege to help them by giving my views on football,” said Costa.

The Brazil international has represented his country on 30 separate occasions, and his club career has seen him play across Europe with Shakhtar Donetsk, Juventus and current team Bayern Munich.

Malta-registered LVBet is a licensed operator in the UK, Republic of Ireland and Latvia, operating under EU law in the latter two nations. The firm specialises in offering pre-event and in-play sports betting products as well as online casino games.
