Agreeing terms on a two-year partnership, Vbet has secured its first ever French football sponsorship arrangement, which will see its brand displayed on ‘Les Monégasques’ matchday shorts.

“We are proud of this long-term partnership agreement with AS Monaco, which undoubtedly marks a major milestone in the history of Vbet,” said Vbet founder and chief executive Vigen Badalyan.

Ligue 1’s 2020/2021 football season began over the weekend, with French professional football returning back to action following the immediate termination of all professional sports last April on direct orders of the En Marche government.

Season 2020/2021 sees Ligue 1 undertake an image makeover as online food delivery platform UBER Eats becomes the title sponsor of the league – a record deal secured under lockdown by the French Football Federation (FFF) as French football’s biggest ever sponsorship commitment.

AS Monaco chief executive Oleg Petrov added: “We are very happy to establish this partnership with Vbet, a very dynamic and essential player in its sector.

“AS Monaco and VBET are now linked by a common interest and passion, football, but also, and above all by the same spirit of adventure, innovation and a strong desire to establish themselves in very competitive markets.”
