Soft2Bet gets green light to enter Swedish market

Sportsbook operator group Soft2Bet has been given the green light to launch its Campobet and YoYo casino brands in Sweden after receiving the necessary approval from the Swedish Gaming Authority.

The launch follows a number of ‘successful’ inspections and audits, which have ensured that both platforms are in line with the Swedish gaming regulations. The two platforms have since been certified with BMM Laboratories.

Uri Poliavich, Chief Operations Officer of Soft2Bet, celebrated the launch into the market: “The granting of this licence is a historical moment for Soft2Bet. The team have put in a lot of effort to qualify for all the requirements and meet all the deadlines.

“This achievement is a product of uncompromising dedication and is another great accomplishment for our executives and our team.”

The extension into the Swedish regulated market marks the latest strategic move for the operator group as it expands its global footprint across several emerging regions. The group currently operates with Malta Gaming Authority and Curacao licences, with further certification within the EU set to follow.

Last week, the Swedish Gaming Authority signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with its UK counterpart, UK Gambling Commission

The new agreement is hoped to strengthen the collaboration between the two regulators, having come into effect on 11 November 2019. Under the terms of the partnership, the duo will collaborate in sharing best practice on areas such as regulatory policies and procedures.
