Leading sports data, technology and intelligence firm Sportradar has secured a new exclusive partnership with DISH which will see it named as the company’s official sports data provider.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Sportradar will give DISH access to its data, which will be used to power DISH sports offerings, including the Game Finder app. The app gives punters the chance to access up-to-the-minute box scores as well as updates from live games.
In addition to supporting the Game Finder app, Sportradar will integrate sports data across DISH’s platforms, including its Hopper family receivers and the DISH Anywhere app.
“DISH is a well-respected leader in the pay-TV space and has been a mainstay for consumers for nearly 40 years,” said Brian Josephs, vice president of digital sport at Sportradar.
“We look forward to working with DISH in providing fresh and enhanced sports data experiences for its loyal customers.”
In addition, Sportradar will provide its data APIs to DISH from major sports leagues, including the NBA, MLB and NHL.
At the end of last month, Football media platform Onefootball strengthened its current partnership with Sportradar by appointing the sports data intelligence firm to develop its OTT proposition.
