Further to publishing its 2018 full-year results, Stockholm-listed LeoVegas AB has confirmed that it has strengthened the firm’s executive management team, announcing three key new hires.
As previously communicated, seasoned digital strategist Richard Woodbridge has joined LeoVegas’ executive team as new Group Chief Operations Officer (COO).
A fresh industry recruit, Woodbridge has formerly served as the digital operations lead for Swedish fashion and leisure e-commerce group Ellos AB (2017-2019) and COO of leading Nordic female fashion retailer Nelly.com.
Supporting ongoing international expansion projects and corporate initiatives, LeoVegas governance confirms that Avshalom Lazar will join the company as new Chief Compliance & Legal Officer.
A 15-year sports and gambling law veteran, Lazar will be tasked with leading LeoVegas legal representation and compliance frameworks. Avshalom joins the Stockholm enterprise from CIS gambling group Fortuna Entertainment Group, where he most recently served as Group Director of Legal & Compliance affairs.
Completing the trio of executive appointments, Leo Vegas has merged the leadership positions of Chief Technical and Chief Product officer roles, which moving forward will be fulfilled by new group technology leader Mattias Wedar, who is expected to join LeoVegas’ executive team during the Spring period.
A leading figurehead in industry tech development and product delivery, Wedar joins LeoVegas AB from competitor MRG Group, where he formerly led strategic technology unit the MRG Gametek division.
LeoVegas undertakes its executive team restructure, as the Stockholm firm continues to undertake its ‘2020 enterprise vision’ targeting generating at least €600 million in group revenues, combined with a corporate EBITDA of €100 million by 2020.
