LeoVegas Group has made progress with its in-house sportsbook migration, now enhanced by access to Kambi’s premium Odds Feed+ solution.

With its portfolio of brands – such as LeoVegas, BetMGM, BetUK and expekt – the extension allows for Kambi’s traded odds to be integrated to enhance their sportsbook offering through a single API.

Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi, commented: “Our valued partnership with LeoVegas dates back almost 10 years and we are proud of the success we have achieved together.”

Their first partnership was formed in 2016, when Kambi Group agreed to deliver its fully managed sportsbook solution to LeoVegas.

Kambi’s sportsbook was then integrated into LeoVegas’ proprietary platform enabling its players to move more early between casino and sport. The deal also helped enable LeoVegas to expand into global markets.

“While we look forward to another two years of Turnkey provision, it speaks to the quality of our trading capabilities that LeoVegas also secured access to our Odds Feed+ solution, taking our partnership into a new phase,” Becher added.

A long history

Over the past 10 years, the partnership has grown to support a range of LeoVegas-owned brands. Through multiple multi-year renewals, Kambi has continued to provide LeoVegas with advanced sportsbook capabilities, including AI-powered trading and Bet Builders.

For example, after having secured a Stockholm Nasdaq IPO in March 2016, LeoVegas, along with Kambi, brought its betting product in time for the beginning of the UEFA Euro 2016 Championships.

Its sportsbook aimed to bring “several unique characteristics” to the app during the tournament which included easier navigation, intuitive player experience and faster loading.

Meanwhile, in 2023, LeoVegas formed a deal with BetMGM to launch BetMGM UK, powered by Kambi, – which was a significant move as it was BetMGM’s first move outside of North America, and somewhat surprising as Entain was not a part of the venture.
