LeoVegas nets ‘Sponsorship Double’ with Brentford FC

Championship football club Brentford FC has signed a two-year agreement with LeoVegas Group AB, which will see the LeoVegas online betting and gaming brands become the official ‘Shirt’ and ‘Title’ sponsors of the West London club.

Securing sponsorship terms for the start of the 2017/18 EFL Championship (start date 4 August), LeoVegas will promote both its online casino and sports betting brands on Brentford’s ‘home & away’ shirts.

Furthermore, as official Title Sponsor of Brentford FC, LeoVegas brands will gain high coverage marketing placements throughout Griffin Park (capacity 13,000), including displays above the stadium’s goals and throughout the Braemar Road stand.

Mark Devlin, Brentford FC Chief Executive, commented on the LeoVegas partnership: “I’m delighted to welcome LeoVegas on board as a partner of the Club. We are pleased to add a rapidly growing brand like LeoVegas to an already strong commercial family that includes local, national and international companies.

“During our discussions with LeoVegas it was clear that they were a company we could work with. There was a synergy between us and the benefits of the relationship appealed to all parties. We believe there are common values we share and we look forward to working closely with LeoVegas over the next two years.”

Jon Sinclair, Head of LeoVegas for UK and Ireland detailed that the company was committed to finding the best value marketing initiatives within the saturated UK betting sector. Brentford FC now joins Leicester Tigers and professional golfer Mathias Schjølberg as a LeoVegas marketing partner.

“This much-loved club is, like us, ambitious and innovative – which perfectly aligns with our technological expertise and mobile first ethos.” Sinclair commented on the sponsorship.

Brentford play in one of the most-watched leagues in the world and have incredibly loyal fans – we’re thrilled to be at the heart of the action with them.”
