Fortuna Entertainment lands major ‘all levels’ sponsorship with Czech Football

Eastern European gambling group Fortuna Entertainment (Fortuna) has confirmed that it has secured a major sponsorship with deal with the Czech Football Association (Fotbalová asociace České republiky; FAČR) becoming  the official sponsor of the Czech Liga.

Agreeing a six-year deal with the FACR, Fortuna gains the title sponsorship of the Czech Liga which will be rebranded to the ‘Fortuna Liga’ at the start of the 2018-19 football season.

In addition, the sponsorship deal will see Fortuna become the main sponsor of the Czech National Football team.

Confirming its new sponsorship, FACR governance ends its search for a new title sponsor following the withdrawal of Czech-licensed bookmaker Synot following a tax dispute with the government.

The deal sees Fortuna undertake its biggest football sponsorship to date, as the operator will further become a major sponsor of all levels of Czech professional football, including cup competitions.
