Betway sponsors Belgium Football’s Croky Cup

European bookmaker Betway has announced that it has secured its second ‘landmark’ Belgium football partnership, by agreeing terms with the Royal Belgian Football Association (Belgian FA) to sponsor the ‘Croky Cup’ the country’s principal cup competition.

The Croky Cup (Belgian Cup) which begins its first round of matches tonight, sees all levels of Belgium football compete in a knockout competition.

Betway management has declared its commitment to expanding its brand and services within the newly regulated Belgian online betting market. On Monday the bookmaker announced that it had secured a betting partnership with Brussels-based ‘Big 3’ football club RSC Anderlecht.

Confirming the Croky Cup sponsorship  Anthony Werkman Director of Marketing & Operations stated:

“The partnership with the Belgian Cup is an excellent platform to introduce our brand across all football supporters in Belgium. We look forward building up the excitement from the early round games all the way to the final in Brussels.”

Francois De Keersmaecker, President of the Belgian Football Association backed Betway as Sponsors: “The Croky Cup is the fastest road to European football qualification in Belgium, and the arrival of Betway as a partner of this competition proves its continuing growth and success.”
