
Newly merged Paddy Power Betfair (PPB), continues its senior management restructure with the appointment of Ken Robertson to the new role of Advertising Director.
Robertson a sixteen-year Paddy Power veteran, who has worked in numerous marketing and brand roles for the betting operator and its Australian subsidiary Sportsbet.com.au, has been promoted to the new role for the merged business.
Robertson will be tasked with leading PPB European advertising initiatives including the creative/brand planning and campaign delivery.
The merger of Paddy Power and Betfair (completed January 2016), has seen a restructure of the merged business’ marketing division.
In March 2016 Paddy Power announced the departure of CMO Gav Thompson, with Betfair marketing lead Jonathan Devitt taking over combined PPB responsibilities.
PPB governance continues its operational restructure, which this month saw the operator announce that it would axe approximately 650 jobs in the UK and Ireland. The new business aims to reduce its + 7000 headcount, with jobs expected to be cut in its HR, legal, finance and marketing divisions.
