The deal extends the long-term relationship between the two; OpenBet has supplied the Leeds-based operator since it was formed in 2001.

OpenBet will continue to provide Sky Betting & Gaming with its online and mobile sports betting platform for a further five years, and the operator will retain full independence to innovate and differentiate by building its own customer interfaces on the OpenBet platform. This partnership has allowed the two firms to build on key strengths and facilitated record performance for Sky Betting & Gaming.

Sky Betting & Gaming Chief Executive, Richard Flint said: “OpenBet has been an integral component of our business since day one.  Against ever-changing regulatory frameworks and fast-moving technological developments, they continue to deliver. The OpenBet platform gives us the flexibility to create a first class Sportsbook that fits our brand and our players’ needs.”

The deal reflects both the confidence Sky Betting & Gaming have in our ability to support their growth and the outstanding relationship maintained by all of those working on their development.”
