Ahead of the UK General Election vote on 7 May, Ladbrokes has announced the launch of special micro-site The Ladbrokes Lowdown – General Election 2015. The Ladbrokes General Election micro-site was launched this week in time for the first set of leader debates hosted by broadcaster ITV.

The General Election micro-site has been developed by London digital development agency Grand Parade and digital marketing firm Branded3. The focus site will aim shed further insight into movements of Ladbrokes UK political betting markets giving viewers further information on potential outcomes come 7 May.

The micro-site features a UK political map showing data of regional constituency betting markets and has been further synced with the Ladbrokes Politics Twitter profile to drive viewer engagement. Content and commentary on the Ladbrokes General Election micro-site will be provided by Mathew Shaddick Ladbrokes Head of Politics.

In March the bookmaker had predicted that the 2015 General Election betting market would be the biggest political betting market it had ever hosted. Ladbrokes expects a staggering £100 million to be wagered on the May vote, as the UK election agenda heats up in the coming weeks
