Football Pools refreshes brand & image with Someone London

footballpoolsSportech’s Football Pools has turned to creative marketing and branding specialists Someone London to help refresh its image and attract a new audience to its football pools product.

In its last financial statement, Sportech revealed that although the Football Pools had maintained revenues and product margins, it had seen a decline in its number of active customers. Sportech management have looked to address the issue, by creating a new image for its product in order to target a new gaming audience.

The Football Pools product has undertaken a revamp by development agency ThoughtWorks India to improve consumer and game experience on digital and mobile products.

Tasked with refreshing the Football Pools brand, SomeOne London have created a multi-content campaign ‘It’s all to play for”

Commenting on the partnership David Law Co-Founder of SomeOne London stated “We focussed all our attention on making The Football Pools more relevant for today’s player, while not losing the goodwill and feeling towards the Pools built over the last 91 years.”

Conleth Byrne, Managing Director of the Football Pools, deemed the branding “outstanding and contemporary” adding that it is underpinned “with a rock solid strategy good enough to take us into the next phase of The Football Pools”.

The Football Pools will roll out its new branding inventory throughout all of its marketing and communications
