Milos Nusic, one of the most consistent basketball tipping specialist on Bet Advisor (8 positive months since February 2014), takes us through how he achieved 5296 points of profit in 1354 tips since November 2011.
Milos: I started to get involved in betting very early, first as a hobby but after I realized I could help others. In Serbia there is a lot of people involved in betting, for some it is the basic source of income. I realized I could benefit from it, but it took a long time to figure out how I could make a living with it. My first winning bet was when I had less than 18 years old.
SBC: At what point did you realize that you can make some real money from sports betting?
Milos: I realized that when I was asked by other people for advice, since most of my classmates knew that I played basketball very well, and they knew that I was following the games. They all wanted advice from me because I managed to give them winning ideas, I realized that I had an edge on them and and I could ask them money for my ideas.
In any case, the most important thing that made me realize I could make money from it..is when my pockets were full of money..
SBC: How did you come to select basketball as your chosen sport?
Milos: I coached basketball, I was a very talented player in the youth categories I averaged 30 points a game… but honestly I had the talent but I was not much into physical training, I liked more to go out with friends than to go home early and rest for training. Basketball is a sport that I follow literally from when I started to walk, and it was my life for more than 20 years .. It is logical that’s now is the sport I bet on.
SBC: Are there any particular events that you look forward to throughout the year?
Milos: I love to bet on leagues, my favorites are Germany, Euro Cups, Greece … I simply love European basketball, almost every leagues. I don’t like major basketball events like World Cup, Olympics or European Championship.
SBC: What kind of factors do you evaluate before making a selection?
Milos:I most play on my feelings and my personal knowledge. There are a lot of things that alter the view of a match, such as statistics, information about the match to which Iget from my friends in the world of basketball, information about some of the injuries, i look at the history of the duel itself, like the coaches against each other, how a team do in away games, etc. .. There are many factors, but you don’t need to fall too much in some statistical catches.
SBC: What has been the biggest influence on your betting career?
Milos: Well honestly it is the moment when i realized that I could help other people better than they did themselves. In life it is very important to be a good man, when I help someone else to make him fortunate like me, this is pretty thing in this job
SBC: Do you have any future plans in regards to your service?
Milos: It’s probably safe to play in the leagues where I have good statistics, also I do enjoy seeing large bets come in with odds higher than normal. Since I play flat stakes on my selections the security is considerably higher when playing with bigger odds due to the returns available. My personal opinion is that this season will be good if I can stick to the principles that have worked for me in the past and those are only useful when I stick to the leagues where my level of knowledge is very high.
SBC: How do you keep calm when you hit a run of losing bets?
It’s all a matter of practice at it. Honestly is always hard, but now it is much easier to accept than before. You simply have to know that something like that happens also to experienced tipsters
SBC: Finally…What is the best reason you could give to anyone who was thinking about following your service?
Milos: Behind my service the is a lot of knowledge and experience, I think there is a small number of basketball tipsters in the world, not only in Europe, that have as much knowledge in basketball as I do. There is never the certainty that we will make profits but with me you definitely have the most chances of being profitable investing in basketball.
