John Haddock – Betfred CEO
Betfred has announced the promotion of Russell Young from Head of Commercial Management, to Betfred.com Commercial Director. Young will replace Rakesh Chablani who has recently been promoted to the position of Managing Director of Betfred’s digital business.
Young’s appointment, which was announced to operator staff members last Friday, will see him take on commercial responsibilities and performance of Betfred.com brands. Young will also be tasked with making sure that Betfred.com brands are fully compliant with upcoming UK igaming licence operational procedures.
Young has worked in several product management roles since he joined the Betfred.com in 2009. Prior to becoming Commercial Director, Young had served as Head of Product and Head of Bingo and Games.
The promotion of Young is the latest in a succession of management changes at Betfred. Last month saw the appointment of Managing Director John Haddock to Chief Executive.
