Quixant and Novatrade give ‘significant market advantage’ in Brazil

Quixant has partnered with Novatrade in preparation for the launch of the new betting market in Brazil.

Customers of the solution company will gain a significant market advantage, enabling them to be among the first to launch their platforms in the country when the market is legalised.

Patricia Souto Rial, VP of business development for Spain and LatAm at Quixant, said: “Brazil’s legalisation of sports betting and online gaming, alongside developments in land-based gaming legalisation, represents a game-changing opportunity.

“We are not just focused on providing the products our customers need when they need them but also on establishing partnerships that facilitate strategic decision-making and empower customers to achieve exceptional results.

“We have been diligently preparing by developing teams, structures and a portfolio tailored to the Brazilian market’s needs. The partnership with Novatrade is the final piece in our strategy, enabling customers to be the first to bring products to market and ensure their success.

“Our cutting-edge technologies, game-changing software, support and our years of experience specialising in the gaming world, combined with Novatrade’s extensive local expertise, will empower game manufacturers to thrive in this dynamic market.”

With Brazil set to become a central player in Latin America’s gaming and sports betting industry, the pair aim to provide ‘unparalleled support’ to organisations entering the market.

Brazil’s gaming and sports betting market is on the brink of significant change, with the online and sports betting markets to be legalised on 1 January 2025.

Meanwhile, the bill (PL 2234/2022) concerning the legalisation of land-based gaming is expected to be voted on in the coming weeks.

Brazil’s government expects to generate approximately R$2bn (€400m) annually in tax revenues from the launch of the regulated sports betting market.

“Our collaboration with Quixant is a win-win for the Brazilian sports betting and gaming industry,” added Cyprien Hoffet, CEO of Novatrade.

“With many years of experience operating in the region, we have a deep understanding of the local supply chain, operational and cultural practices that are key to success.

“Together, we will provide an unmatched partnership, ensuring game and sports betting cabinet manufacturers can achieve their goals efficiently and effectively.”
