Joe Bennett, VP of US Operations for Instant Products at lottery technology provider Scientific Games (SG), will step down from his role this April.
This was announced by SG themselves, in a LinkedIn post where it was additionally revealed that the position will be filled by Bryan Murphy – with the company expecting a “seamless transition” non-disruptive to the 70% of global retail sales that SG’s instant products represent.

Bennett’s resignation comes after a career spanning 34 years with Scientific Games, having first joined the company as a game programmer. His role was described as “crucial” for the development of instant game security and innovation, with SG adding that Bennett has established himself as one of the groundlayers of modern global lottery technologies.
John Schulz, President of Americas and Global Instant Products at SG, further commented: “Joe has consistently championed the highest standards of excellence.
“His leadership has driven innovation across our instant games portfolio, resulting in enhanced player experiences, trusted partnerships, and support for the important good cause missions of our lottery customers.
“We are confident that Bryan’s leadership and expertise will be instrumental as he takes on this vital role delivering end-to-end games to our customers.”

Bryan Murphy has been part of Bennett’s team since 2007, with his most recent role being the Director of Finishing and Logistics for US instant game products at SG – bringing extensive expertise and a deep understanding of the matter.
His new duties will include overseeing day-to-day operations of SG’s US instant game production facilities, ensuring that the production process remains efficient, secure, and up to the company’s lottery customers’ standards.
