Allwyn has announced the appointment of Elena Chambers as the new Group Chief Transformation and Corporate Development Officer for the global lotteries group.
Chambers will oversee the execution and development of large-scale transformation projects across Allwyn’s international portfolio, including Lotteries Austria, SAZKA (Czech Republic), OPAP (Greece), Lotto Italia, and The National Lottery (UK).
Allwyn confirmed that Chambers joined its C-level executive team on 18 November, tasked with leading group-wide strategic planning, oversight, and impactful organisational change.
Chambers’ extensive experience was highlighted, having previously served as Director of Strategy and Transformation at Virgin Media O2, where she led a comprehensive overhaul of channel strategies to improve underlying commercial performance.
Notably, Chambers also served as Chief Operations Officer of 888 Holdings (formerly Evoke Plc), where she led the post-merger operational integration of 888’s £2bn acquisition of William Hill in 2022.
Allwyn’s leadership emphasised Chambers’ proven track record in managing key integrations, cost controls, and the development of synergies across operating units. Robert Chvátal, Allwyn Group CEO, stated: “We are delighted to welcome Elena as Group Chief Transformation and Corporate Development Officer as we continue to develop the growing Allwyn brand and business.
“Elena is a dynamic and proven business leader, with an exceptional track record of delivering business-wide change.
