bet365 licensed by BetMakers in New Jersey & Colorado content deals

BetMakers Technology Group has signed two market access and content deals with bet365 covering New Jersey and Colorado.

The partnership will see the Stoke-On-Trent founded operator become licensed by BetMakers to offer fixed odds bets on thoroughbred horse racing to bet365 customers within New Jersey.

The agreements, both spanning two years, also allow bet365 to distribute BetMakers’ thoroughbred racing content to the operator’s customers in New Jersey and both thoroughbred and harness racing in Colorado.

Earlier this year, bet365 launched in Indiana, which became the eighth state of the British bookmaker’s US expansion, joining the likes of Kentucky, Louisiana, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, Iowa and Colorado.

BetMakers’ CEO, Jake Henson, commented: “We are very excited to be launching fixed odds betting on thoroughbreds in partnership with a leading sportsbook in the US.

“This is a significant milestone for BetMakers and aligns with our strategy for fixed odds betting on thoroughbreds in the US.”

bet365 will pay BetMakers a ‘Market Access Fee’, which is based on a percentage of all fixed odds bets placed in New Jersey on all thoroughbred racing events it offers to its customers.

The operator will also pay a ‘Content Fee’, which is based on a percentage of all fixed odds bets placed in New Jersey and Colorado on applicable BetMakers Global Racing Network content.
