SKS365 ‘In The Game’ in Italy as Planetwin365 Rome flagship store launched

SKS365 has enhanced its operations in the Italian retail betting market, celebrating the opening of its flagship Planetwin365 high-street store in Rome.

The pan-European betting and gaming company, headquartered in Malta, has adopted an operational concept for its 1,000 shop Planetwin365 retail network, ‘In The Game’, which places a heavy emphasis on the customer experience.

SKS365 is targeting an omnichannel offering that makes use of digital verticals in its betting shops, whilst adding a ‘personalised experience’ for bettors and incorporating the social aspect of retail wagering.

Troy Cox, SKS365’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Planetwin365’s new flagship store is a fundamental step in SKS365’s mission, which is dedicated  to all-round entertainment and the evolution of the player.

“We are going towards a new dimension of gaming experience and it is important to provide our customers with an environment that meets their particular needs and encourages social interaction. 

“The usability of the new shop and its technological efficiency are the starting point for achieving this goal, to which the architectural transparency of the shop will also contribute. We want our flagship store in Rome to become a reference point for all customers, a place to meet and socialise, as well as a place for entertainment.”

An additional focus for the firm’s Italian network from its Rome flagship location is environmental sustainability, leveraging the aforementioned digital aspect of the operation.

All shop activities are conducted digitally, including posters and information videos, to cut down on paper usage, whilst LED screens will also reduce the outlet’s power consumption.

Further technological features on the customer experience side of business include betting terminals, slots and video lotteries, Cashlogic automatic cash machines, a 136-inch HD video wall and dedicated horse racing channels.

To support its Italian segment, SKS365 – in particular the digital, or ‘phygital’ omnichannel nature of its product – partnered with Net4Media, which is providing the operator with banners, promotional videos, live broadcasts, live odds and HD virtual games to support its digitalisation efforts.
