BresBet secures sponsorship of community horse racing radio programme

In a continuation of its horse racing focused product-orientation and marketing, BresBet has announced support for a programme centred around the sport on a community radio station Three Valleys Radio.

Three Valleys is a community sports programme developed by and for followers of National League team Yeovil Town FC, located in horse racing heartlands in the the Southwest of England.

As a result of the station’s partnership with Sheffield-based sports betting operator BresBet, the programme will be branded as the BresBet Racing Show, featuring interviews with racing figures such as trainers, jockeys, pundits and other personalities.

David Perry, BreBet Managing Director, said: “The Racing Show is very much a labour of love for the team at Three Valleys and we are delighted to support it. We are huge horse racing and football fans too – and can see the work that goes into the shows.

“It’s a busy time of the year for sport, particularly football and horse racing, and the BresBet Racing Show kicks off the weekend for racing fans at 7pm each Friday, although there’s also a listen again facility to catch up with any interviews later.”

The collaboration marks a continuation of BresBet’s horse and greyhound racing focused strategy, which so far has seen the company partner with a number of prominent figures from the sport such as Paddy Brennan and Fergal O’Brien, whilst also sponsoring the Sheffield Steel City Cup dog racing tournament.

Founded by Nic Brereton earlier this year, the operator has detailed plans to expand its current offering of online and telephone-based services to enter the retail high street sector.

Commenting on his outlet’s agreement with BresBet, Adi Hopper, Thames Valleys Station Director, added: “I’ve managed to build up a nice book of contacts over the years and people have been very kind giving up their time for what are the twin passions of ours here at Three Valleys Radio – football and horse racing.

“The Racing Show is now one of the major shows on the station and to build up from nothing, to where we are now, couldn’t have been achieved without the help of the racing fraternity as a whole, and we are very grateful to them and Colin Brown, who has been a great help over the life of the project.”
