MyRacing (MyRacing.com), the horseracing results and information portal of Spotlight Sports Group, has launched its first weekly ‘MyRacing Show’ aiming to showcase the wonderful, weird and enthralling sport of horseracing to a broader audience.
Published across Spotlight’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), the ‘MyRacing Show’ is hosted by up-coming comedian Ross Brierley – a former employee of William Hill who self-identifies as ‘the world’s only stand-up, pro-punter and newspaper columnist’.
Brierley is joined by ITV Racing’s raceday reporter Natalie Jane Green, with the duo taking a lighter look at the biggest talking points in racing.
The launch of the show supports Spotlight’s revamp of the MyRacing portal, with the heritage racing publisher introducing high-quality video production as a key discipline to drive wider audience appeal and engagement with MyRacing’s content and services.
Backing the ‘MyRacing Show’, Spotlight Senior Content Marketing Manager Ben Blackmore said: ‘We’ve created a show that takes a lighter and more relaxed look at the current landscape. We wanted to have a show that discusses topics that are not necessarily talked about enough in the industry.
“This week Natalie gives us great insight into what life is like on course with no crowds and in the weeks to come we’ve more great content lined up. Having Ross and his humour on board makes for a more laid back and enjoyable show, one we’re sure viewers will enjoy.”
