The Racing Partnership (“TRP”) has unveiled the expansion of its broadcasting portfolio, agreeing a deal with Arena Racing Company (“ARC”) and Pelaw Grange Greyhound Stadium to broadcast greyhound racing from the County Durham track on its platform.
Pelaw Grange will feature on the TRP betting shop service from next month, providing a regular Sunday evening fixture to the channel, replacing the fixture formerly broadcast from Towcester.
The partnership also means that racing from Pelaw Grange on Sunday night will also feature on Racing Post Greyhound TV as well as all TRP international and streaming services.
Director of Media at ARC, Mark Kingston commented: “We’re delighted to add racing from Pelaw Grange to the TRP portfolio. This new agreement could provide TRP and our channels with over 1,000 additional races per year and reaffirms our ongoing commitment to the greyhound industry.”
Jeff McKenna, Managing Director of Pelaw Grange Greyhound Stadium, added: “It’s a great opportunity to develop a partnership with ARC and it’s a credit to all the staff, greyhound trainers and owners at Pelaw Grange who have supported us throughout.”
ARC currently provides over 20,000 greyhound races per annum across a number of channels and platforms including BAGS, TRP, RPGTV and international channels including the European Racing Channel, as well as streaming on the ATR platform.
