Mark Frissora – Caesars future growth must be guided by responsibility & diversity commitments

Nasdaq-listed Caesars Entertainment Corporation has released its ninth ‘Corporate Social Responsibility – CSR Report’, detailing its sustained commitment to its employees., communities and wider stakeholders.

The US gambling group continues its corporate guidance under thePeople, Planet, Play’ framework which seeks to deliver a positive corporate impact on society.

‘People, Planet, Play’ focuses on five core responsibility dynamics; improving employee well-being, increasing diversity and inclusion, delivering social/community values, leading industry social responsibility practices and protecting the environment.

“The ninth annual report highlights Caesars Entertainment’s leadership in areas important to our company and society,” said Mark Frissora, President and CEO of Caesars Entertainment.

“As we expand our presence internationally, we are finding that PEOPLE PLANET PLAY is a core driver of value and a differentiator in new markets. It demonstrates that we continue to make new and exciting commitments to further enhance the value we bring to our guests, team members and communities.”

Publishing its 2017/18 CSR report, Caesars will launch a new ‘domestic partner benefits’ scheme inbound for 2019, which will widen the scope of its employee benefits to family members and partners.

“The updated benefits widen Caesars’ offering to new and current employees by enhancing the opportunities for the same sex as well as opposite-sex domestic partners. Benefits include medical, dental and vision plan options, short and long-term disability, life insurance and a selection of other voluntary benefits” details Caesar’s corporate update.

Further CSR highlights see Caesars indexed as an A-score US enterprise in the carbon-disclosure-project (CDP) global rankings.

On diversity and inclusion, Caesars details significant progress on its mandate to deliver ‘gender equity’ in leadership by 2015.

“In 2017, 32 percent of managers were people of color, 4 percentage points higher than the national average of 28 percent”.
