Spanish gambling firm, Grupo Codere has announced that it has surpassed +2,500 betting points operating within its home market of Spain.
During the first two months of 2018, Codere has strategically expanded its retail presence in the regions of Andalucía and the Balearic Islands.
The Balearic and Andalusian expansions support Codere’s 2017 dedicated betting shop openings in Madrid and Castilla la Mancha.
The Spanish legacy gambling operator has expanded its retail presence, by increasing its betting shop portfolio, supported with further betting point partnerships within Spanish gaming halls and independent retail and entertainment venues (kiosks, cafés, arcades etc.).
Codere’s home market expansion has seen the gambling group upgrade its entire retail terminal portfolio with Playtech BGT acting as its lead betting systems supplier.
The new systems feature a dashboard redesign allowing for better customer engagement with live markets. Furthermore, Codere retail customers will see a significant boost in the number of live markets they can bet on including racing data content supplied by the Racing Post through Playtech BGT terminals.
Celebrating its betting point milestone, Codere further informs that its new retail terminals will feature an ‘exclusive section’ for Real Madrid dedicated bets. Codere is currently the official betting partner of Real Madrid, the firm’s biggest sports marketing partnership to date.
