EDITEC has announced the opening of the first Premier Bet in Nairobi, Kenya.
The store opened on the first weekend of January in the Kawangare area of the capital city.
It aims to capitalise on the growing popularity of sports betting throughout the East African region, and will offer a vast array of betting markets.
Andrew Batley will head up this operation which EDITEC states will create a number of jobs in the region. Batley has many years of experience working with EDITEC as the Operations Manager of SBA Uganda.
Simon Burrell, Head of Business Development at Editec commented: “EDITEC is delighted to open Premier Bet in Kenya, one of Africa’s most powerful nations. The move shows that Premier is a growing force on the continent and we are all very excited to provide our services to the people of Kenya.”
EDITEC is already well established in Africa and operates the Premier Bet, SBA and Guinea brands. The firm opening in Kenya follows the recent launch of mCHEZA amongst other betting operators.
