Churchill Downs appoints Marcia Dall as CFO

US race track operator Churchill Downs Inc (CDI) has confirmed the appointment of Marcia Dall as Chief Finance Officer.

CDI governance reported that Dall will assume her new position and corporate responsibilities from 12 October, reporting directly to CEO William C. Carstanjen.

The appointment of Dall, continues CDI’s restructure of governance and executive management teams. Dall succeeds Bill Mudd, who had served as CFO since October 2007 and was promoted to president and CFO of CDI in August 2014

Dall has been executive vice president and CFO at Erie Indemnity Company for six years and previously served as CFO for the Healthcare division at Cigna Corp., a global health services supplier.

CDI reports that Dall will oversee financial reporting, financial compliance, financial planning and analysis, capital management, risk management, treasury, and investor relations efforts.

Her appointment will see Bill Mudd shift focus to group operational responsibilities taking on board the title of new Chief Operating Officer
