Mecca Bingo crowns Dale Wilson as Host of the Year

Mecca Bingo (Rank Group) has crowned employee Dale Wilson as Host of 2015, in its national company awards.

Dale from Huddersfield was presented the award at Mecca’s Leeds Hunslet site, beating competition from five other contenders. The bingo caller known for his quick wit and charm with customers was rewarded with £5000 prize and a holiday to Florida.

Mecca Bingo club management detailed that the prize was a just reward for an employee renowned for going “the extra mile” in his role at Mecca Folly Hall Mills.

Kevin Johnson, Mecca Bingo Promotions Specialist and event Judge, commented on Dales win:

“Myself and the other judges had the unenviable task of trying to choose one winner out of a very first-class group of finalists who have all set a high standard.

“Dale was the stand-out performer and his crowning as Host of the Year is much deserved.Our Mecca Hosts are fantastic at their job and aside from providing entertainment and making members laugh; they are integral to our success and do the role of calling the games expertly.”
